Fine Wool Kani Palla Stole with Multi-Floral Border
Inclusive of all taxes
Description
An exquisite union of minimal modern aesthetics and traditional Kashmiri weaving, our Fine Wool Kani Palla Stole is designed for understated luxury. Crafted from featherlight pure fine wool, the body features subtle geometric weave textures that contrast against a dramatic jet-black palla (end panel) woven with vibrant, multi-hued Kashmiri Kani floral vines.
The intricate tapestry border bursts with vivid jewel tones—marigold, ruby, turquoise, and emerald—framed by a contemporary striped hem and soft eyelash fringes. Lightweight, breathable, and supremely warm, it drapes cleanly over tailored coats or ethnic wear, adding an artisanal accent to any silhouette.

Size & fit
Measurements are taken flat, with the piece fully open. Handwoven pieces vary by roughly half an inch — that variation is a mark of the loom, not a defect.
Care
If washing at home, gently hand wash in cold water using a mild wool-safe detergent.
Do not soak, wring, or twist the fabric.
Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals.
Dry flat in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
Steam lightly or iron on low heat if needed.
Store folded in a cool, dry place.
Keep away from sharp accessories that may snag the weave.
From the valley
Woven by hand, not by the hour
A single Kani stole can hold weeks of work on the loom. The pattern is built thread by thread with small wooden bobbins, following a coded script passed between weavers. Nothing about it is quick, and that is the point.
